About Our Boats
Sandspit Adventures operates a fleet of 29-foot Outlaw Aluminum boats, purpose-built to handle the demanding offshore conditions of Haida Gwaii. These vessels are designed for stability, strength, and reliability in the open Pacific waters, where weather and sea states can change rapidly. Their deep, rugged aluminum construction provides confidence and control when running long distances to productive fishing grounds.

Each boat is spaciously configured to comfortably accommodate up to five clients, with a fully enclosed cabin that offers shelter from wind, spray, and cold temperatures. This enclosed design allows guests to stay warm and dry between fishing periods, making full days on the water more comfortable and enjoyable, regardless of conditions. Thoughtful layout and seating ensure there is room to relax without sacrificing performance or safety.
For convenience and functionality, every vessel is equipped with a power-flush head and urinal, a rare but appreciated feature for offshore fishing days. A large, open aft fishing deck provides ample space to move, fight fish, and work lines without crowding. Powering each boat is a Mercury 300 SeaPro outboard motor, delivering the torque, efficiency, and reliability needed for long runs and confident performance throughout the season.
